Immuno Munch and Mingle: Recap of August 2023 and Upcoming December 2023 or January 2024 Event
The initial Immuno Munch and Mingle event, held in August 2023, successfully brought together PhD students and post-doctoral fellows from the GIGA Institute and the University of Liège Veterinary School. This event facilitated student interactions in a unique “speed-dating” format, accompanied by the delightful exchange of homemade culinary creations. Participants seized this opportunity to acquaint themselves with one another and engaged in enlightening discussions about their respective research projects. Furthermore, during the event, we offered a brief presentation on the organization of yBIS and shared information about upcoming events. We also initiated the process of establishing the initial list of yBIS members at the University of Liège.
We are excited to announce our plans to host a similar event in December 2023 or January 2024, close to the festive holiday season, once again at the GIGA Institute and the Veterinary School. The event’s objectives remain consistent: – Encouraging meaningful interactions – Welcoming new members into the community – Disseminating information about yBIS and our upcoming events We look forward to building upon the success of our past event and continuing to foster connections within the academic community.
